Our Favourite Cafes on Northern Beaches

Once you’ve had a chance to refresh yourself, you can even pop in to the shop to see what great home decor items they have on sale.
The Sandbar Cafe
Overlooking Shelly Beach, Sandbar Cafe is the perfect place to grab a coffee or ice cream as you’re coming off the beach. Their menu offers massive breakfasts, light snacks, and basically anything you could want to make your day more pleasant. Their lunch menu starts from 11 am, so come hungry and even grab a fresh cocktail if you’re feeling daring.
Whether you want to sit down and eat something filling or just pop by to get your caffeine fix during your beach day, this spot’s chill vibes are sure to draw you in.
This Northern Beaches NSW cafe is perfect if you want to bring the whole family. Flying Fox has a playground just next door, so parents can relax a bit while the kids have a chance to play. The menu is also kid-friendly, but that doesn’t stop them from having plenty of great items for adults as well.

If you’re not feeling super hungry, it’s still a beautiful place to grab a coffee and just relax for a bit.
This cozy little cafe is located on the main road of Palm Beach, and it is best known for its home-cooked meals and inviting atmosphere. Their creative sandwiches are to die for, and you’re sure to fall in love with something on their menu from your first visit. Although their food is a huge draw, their coffee is not to be missed either.
Little Manly Beach Kiosk
When it comes to Northern Beaches Sydney cafes that offer great coffee and great views, you can’t go wrong with Little Manly Beach Kiosk. They offer a fantastic and varied selection of breakfast items, so you should definitely arrive hungry to get the full experience. This relaxed coffee spot has limited outdoor seating, so be sure to arrive early or call ahead if you want to make a stop there.

Besides that, they also offer fresh Australian cuisine for both breakfast and lunch. However, the waterside views and delicious food attracts crowds of locals on any given day, so be sure to book ahead so that you can have a spot for yourself.
The Newport goes far beyond the scope of your average beachside cafe. It has a full restaurant, live entertainment, delicious food, and plenty of space. Not only can you get stunning food and a great view here, but it even has a small playground for kids. The only problem you’ll have here is deciding what to order!
